At Corporate Africa, it is important for us to continually educate ourselves to better serve our clients as organizational and business development consultants. We held a series of scenario planning retreats to explore the trends that we felt would most affect Africa and our clients in the next decade

From these meetings, we formed Corporate Africa Foresight Network. This is an informal group of strategic thinkers from various organizational development consulting firms that carried out research into key forces affecting our continent and helped create scenarios for the future which Corporate Africa uses with clients to examine strategic issues. Selected members of the Networkalso helped design and facilitate strategic learning processes for groups and organizations that incorporate scenario approaches with strategic planning, leadership and organizational development and change management projects.

In the upcoming year, we will develop programs that will focus on corporate issues and possible futures of our Continent in the next decade. We're researching and examining events and trends that are already in motion. Our findings will reveal many of the undercurrents for our future. We'll discuss continuing and emerging trends, and weave these into several 10-year scenarios for Africa.
